C.E. Young of Parkersburg formerly of Princeton, died Sunday morning at Charleston Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a brother of Mrs. G.W. Evans of Princeton. Formerly with the State Road Department, he had been affiliated with the U.S. Corps of Engineers in Parkersburg until his illness.
He is also survived by his wife, the former Beth J. Stevens of Bluefield, Va., and two daughters Mrs. Louise Wright of Charleston and Mrs. Frances Simers of Osgood, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Levitt's Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with burial in Pisgah Cemetery in Wirt County.

Young, Clarence E. (Bob) - 72, of 18 Delaware Ave., formerly of Parkersburg, died Sunday in Charleston Memorial Hospital after a six-months illness. He was a former employe[e] of the State Road Commission in Parkersburg and was later employed by the Realty Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Kentucky and Virginia. Surviving are his wife, Bess; two daughters, Mrs. O.O. Wright of Charleston, Mrs. Frances Simers of Osgood, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. W.V. Christian of Huntington, Mrs. G.W. Evans of Princeton, and Mrs. G.S. Dotson of Greenwood; five brothers, Carl and French, both of Silver Springs, Md., Guy of Glenville, Price of Elizabeth, Bruce of McAllen, Tex,; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Leavitt's Funeral Home at Parkersburg with Rev. Rose officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery in Wirt County.
