Roy E. Nutter Of Creston Dies
Roy E. Nutter, 52, of Creston, died Sunday, July 25, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1924, a son of Mrs. Mary Woodring Nutter of Palestine, and the late Arthur Nutter. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Parkersburg.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Mrs. Wanda McCoy and Mrs. Billy Jo Gibson, both of Cyclone; a son, Edward Nutter, of Cyclone; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Wix, Creston, Mrs. Mildred Rose, Walker, Mrs. Genevieve Richter, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Bernice Stewart of Palestine; one brother Herschel Nutter of Parkersburg; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 27, at 2 p.m. at the Creston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bud Graham officiating, and burial was in the Snyder Cemetery at Creston. Pomroy Funeral Home, City, was in charge of the arrangements.
