Rites Sunday For Anna Bell Pepper

Mrs. Anna Bell Pepper, 77, of Munday, Wirt County, died Thursday, October 4, in Calhoun General Hospital.

Mrs. Pepper was born in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Eli and Bertha Mackey Lewis.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Wills, of Upper Falls, Md., Mrs. Louise Schardman, of Elyria, O., Mrs. Geraldine Kapustar, of Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Ruby Johnson, of Spencer; a son Robert Pepper, of Munday; two brothers, Cecil Lewis, of Macfarlan, and Harvey Lewis, of Walker; a sister, Mrs. Lilly Newbrough, of Brohard, Wirt County; 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, with the Rev. Wade Simons officiating, and interment was in the Hartley Cemetery.
