Rites Held For Mrs. Allender

Mrs. Orma Frances Morgan Allender, 53, City, was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg Friday, September 19.

She was born in Elizabeth June 5, 1922, daughter of Beverly Franklin Morgan and Mrs. Melva Doris Ott Morgan, who survive.

Mrs. Allender had been employed at Lyons Nursing Home in Canton, Ohio, as a nurses aide, and had attended the Elizabeth United Methodist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her father and mother, are one son, Lyle Law, of Canton, O.; two daughters, Mrs. Billie (Patty) Nutter, Rt. 3, City, and Mrs. Bud (Peggy) Smarr, City; and six grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richie Doy Law, and her second husband, John Allender.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mace Funeral Home, City, with the Rev. Charles Wilkinson officiating, and interment was in the Elizabeth K. of P. Cemetery.
