Mrs. Plina G. Bailey (1964)

Mrs. Plina G. Bailey, 61, of Minnora, Calhoun county, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the St. Joseph's Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born July 31, 1903, at Orma, Calhoun county, the daughter of the late Lee and Jane McCune Groves. She was a member of the Orma Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Reese Bailey; three sons, Guy Bailey and Bernice Bailey, both of Minnora, and Herbert Bailey, Columbus, O.; six daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Nicholas, Ivydale, Mrs. Iris Roberts and Mrs Dyean Young, both of Akron, O., Miss Wanda Bailey and Miss Jessie Bailey, both of Minnora, and Mrs. Corene Hall, Rocksdale; two brothers, William Groves, and Theodore Groves, both of Orma; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Bailey, and Mrs. Minnie Suttles, both of Orma; and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 21, at the Orma Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Cruikshank officiating. Burial was in the Orma Cemetery.

Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, was in charge of arrangements.
