Adam Poe Gibson Rites Yesterday

Services for Adam Poe Gibson, 75, of 634 8th St., Marietta, O., who died at Marietta Memorial Hospital Saturday, March 26, were held at 2 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) at the Cawley Funeral Home there with the Rev. Charles R. Brown officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Adam and Rose Poling Gibson. He was the manager of Beck's Café, Marietta, and was an oil well driller.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Naomi DeLong, of Cody, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchinson, of Marietta, and Mrs. Osie Gibson, Detroit Mich.; a brother, Otto Gibson, of Marietta; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, and by three brothers.
