Mrs. Jessie Mayle, Mr. George Adams; Sister and Brother

Funeral services were conducted at the Big Island Run Methodist Church in Wirt County on Saturday, January 22, at 1 p.m. for Mrs. Jessie Mayle, 80 who died Wednesday, January 19, at the home of her brother, Pearl Adams, Rt. 2, Waterford, Ohio.

Services were conducted at the same church Wednesday, January 26, at 1 p.m. for her brother, George Adams, 67 of Zanesville, Ohio, who died the day after his sister's services, on Sunday, January 23, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.

The Rev. Raymond Ray, pastor, officiated at both services, and both were interred in the Church Cemetery. McCurdy Funeral Home of Beverly, O., was in charge of the arrangements for both services.

They were daughter and son of the late Samuel and Mary Mayle Adams. Jessie was born in Jackson County, and George was born at Girta.

Jessie was married to William Mayle, and after residing in West Virginia for many years, she moved to Waterford, O., after his death. Her survivors were two brothers, George Adams, Zanesville, O., and Pearl Adams, Rt. 2, Waterford, O.; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Scipio, Belpre, O.

George grew to manhood in the Girta area, later moved to Zanesville. He is survived by the brother, Pearl, and sister, Myrtle.
