Hallie H. Hardbarger

Hallie H. Hardbarger, 73, of Rt. 2, City, died Sunday, Mar. 22, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following a long illness.

He was born in Ritchie County Dec. 24, 1890, son of the late John and Harriett Sinnett Hardbarger. He attended the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Nora Smith Hardbarger; three sons, Lawrence Hardbarger, Rt. 2 City, and Orville and Lester Hardbarger, both of Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Brooks, Rt. 1, Walker; two half-brothers, Charlie Cunningham, Parkersburg, and Arlie Cunningham, Clarksburg; one half-sister, Mrs. Lula Ferree, Parkersburg; 24 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pine Twist Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pomroy Funeral Home, City, was in charge of arrangements.
