Rites March 20 For Lizzie Runnion

Mary (Lizzie) Runnion, 68, of Reedy, died at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, on Monday, March 17, after a long illness.

She was born in Roane County, daughter of the late John and Sadie Stine Runnion. She was a member of the Spencer United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley McCartney, of Elizabeth; a brother, Warren Runnion, of Reedy; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

The funeral was at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Lawrence White officiating, and burial was in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
