Mrs. Oma Mills' Mother Dies Following Accident

Mrs. Cora Hendricks, aged 7[?] Of Parkersburg, formerly of the Mineral Wells section of the Elizabeth-Parkersburg Road, died in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Sunday evening as a result of injuries received in a grade crossing accident at Farson St., Belpre, O., when the car being driven by the son, Paul Hendricks, was struck by a Baltimore & Ohio east-bound train earlier that evening.

She was the mother of a former Elizabeth resident, Mrs. G.C. (Oma) Mill, now of Belrock Ave. Belpre. She was the widow of Henry Hendricks.

She was a life member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a member of the Elm Grove Woodman Circle, and a charter member of the Mineral Wells Farm Women's Club.

Survivors, in addition to the son, who received injuries in the same accident, and daughter, Mrs. Mills, include four other daughters, Mrs. Clara Moore, Mineral Wells, Mrs. Marie Dawson, Belpre, Mrs. Georgia Bonus, Cleveland, O., and Mrs. James (Iva Lee) Hartman, of Rio de Janeiro, S.A.

Funeral services were held at [?] p.m. Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. T.B. Turley, assisted by the Rev. Howard West and the Rev. Robert Quick officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
