Charles E. Mace

Charles Edward Mace, 79, died after a long illness Tuesday Feb. 6, at 9:20 p.m. at his home, 903 Pike St. Parkersburg.

A retired farmer, he formerly lived in Wirt County, and attended the Beulah Presbyterian Church.

He was born April 14, 1882, in Calhoun County, son of the late Perry and Ellen Nutter Mace.

Surviving are the widow, Corba England Mace; five sons, Joseph Edward Mace, Lloyd Curtis Mace and Lester England Mace, all of Parkersburg, William Jack Mace and Daniel Roy Mace, both of Elizabeth; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Mildred Trippett of Glenn Burnie, Md., Mrs. Lady Ruth Scott and Mrs. Patricia Sue Fought, both of Parkersburg; 21 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Beulah Presbyterian Church on Friday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Albert Pierson of Elizabeth, assisted by the Rev. K. T. Board of Palestine. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Pomroy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
