Miss Ina Ball (1958)

Miss Selina Ethel (Ina) Ball, 81, City, died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Cedar Grove nursing home, near Parkersburg, where she had been a resident for the past 15 months.

Born may 22, 1877, near here, the daughter of the late Barnett and Rebecca Ball, she was a member of the Elizabeth Methodist Church. She was a registered nurse and was graduated from the Wheeling School of Nursing.

She is survived by three brothers, E.D. Ball and Arthur Ball, City, and Frank Ball, of Cutler, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother and one half-brother.

Funeral services were held at the McCray Funeral Home, City, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. M. A. Miller, local Methodist minister, officiating. Interment was in the Ball Cemetery, Route 1, City.
