G. Carter Moss Of Reedy Dies

Funeral services for George Carter Moss, 64, of Reedy, who died Thursday, Oct. 5, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reedy Methodist Church. The Rev. Harold Duskey officiated and burial was in the Eventide Cemetery at Spencer.

Born at Reedy, he was a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Rader Moss. He was owner and operator of the Moss General Store at Reedy, and was a former employee of General Tire and Rubber Co., Akron, O. He was a member of the Reedy Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna Sharnsky Moss; three sons, Philip Ray Moss of Atwater, O., Walter Howard Moss, of Akron, and Teddy Lewis Moss of Macedonia, O.; one sister Mrs. Maxie Hanlisp, Akron; one half-sister, Mrs. Nettie Wright, Parkersburg; two brothers, Harvey Moss, Parkersburg, and Glenn Moss, Pt. Pleasant; one half-brother, Azel Wyatt, Akron; and eight grandchildren.

Vandale Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of the arrangements.
