Augustine McClancy

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Creston Methodist Church for Augustine McClancy of Akron, O., who died in Akron General Hospital Saturday, Feb. 20.

He was born in New York City, and had lived in Akron for the past 40 years. He was a member of Akron Pentecostal Church; and was married to Eva Geer, formerly of Creston, who survives.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by one son, Thomas McClancy, of Akron.

The Rev. Edgar Cooper conducted the services and burial was in the Snyder Cemetery at Creston. The Pomroy Funeral Home of Elizabeth was in charge of the arrangements.
