Mrs. Flossie Russell Services Held Friday
Mrs. Flossie Russell, 59, of Creston, died Wednesday, May 27, at a Beckley Hospital.
She was born August 4, 1910, in Wirt County, daughter of the late Bert and Ruth Tonks Woodring.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Opal Sebal, Pittsburgh, Pa.; four sons, Robert, Charles, and Euel, all at home, and Lewis of Warren, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Board, Fairmont, Mrs. Don Pepper, Hudson, O., and Mrs. Nancy Knight, Warren O.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and two daughters.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Creston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bud Graham officiating and burial in the Creston Cemetery.
McCray Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Correction - Russell
In the recent obituary of Mrs. Flossie Russell, there were two errors in the listings of the sisters: Mrs. Nancy Wright (not Knight), and Mrs. Edith Boord (not Ethel Board).
