Mrs. Carrie Wigner

Rites were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ogdin Funeral Home for Mrs. Carrie Gates Wigner, 86, of 1700 Oak St., Parkersburg, who died Friday, July 15, in St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Rev. William Lykins officiated and burial was in the IOOF Cemetery.

Born at Burning Springs, she was a daughter of the late W.D. and Virginia Stump Gates. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Lucas, Porterfield, O., Mrs. Josephine Richards and Mrs. Ruby Duncan, of Parkersburg; one son, Gates E. Wigner, San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Johnson, Grantsville; four grandsons, and two great-grandsons.
