William H. Toothman

William Hugh Toothman, 71, Rt. 1 Belpre, O., died Friday, Oct. 5, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Veto Church of Christ.

Born Jan. 28, 1891, at Hartley, Wirt County, he was a son of the late John and Emma Toothman. He had resided at Belpre for 19 years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gay Fortney Toothman; six sons, Ray, of the U.S. Army in Florida, Millard of Parkersburg, John, Derwood and Leon of Belpre; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Hess, Wooster, O.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Franklin Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Evangelists H.T. Dotson and Tom Gaumer officiating. Burial was in the Rockland Cemetery.
