Obituary

Mrs. Mae Chaffey, a native Wirt Countian, lost her life in a fire in her California home on Saturday night, Sept. 29, 1962.

Mrs. Chaffey was born in Wirt County May 7, 1901, the daughter of Anna Woodyard Rawson and T.F. Rawson.

She was the widow of Frederick B. Chaffey, and had lived in California since 1921.

Surviving are two daughters, Nanci and Mary Margaret Chaffey, both at home; her mother Mrs. Anna Rawson, 2725 Via La Selvia, Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; a brother, Joe A. Rawson; and three nieces.

Miss Beulah Woodyard, City, is an aunt of the deceased, a sister of her mother, Mrs. Rawson.
