Mrs. Esther Anderson Services Held Monday

Mrs. Esther Anderson, 77, of Creston, who had resided the past few months at the Villers Rest Home in Elizabeth, died Saturday morning, February 3, in the Calhoun General Hospital at Grantsville after an extended illness.

Born July 15, 1895, in Wirt County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maggie Allen McClung.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Blondena Morris of Peninsula, O., and Mrs. Fay Shrader of Creston; one son Carl, of Pasadena, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Nora Cunningham, of Parkersburg; one brother, Frank McClung, of Parkersburg; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Anderson and by one daughter.

Services were conducted at the Pomroy Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabeth at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Leon Figard officiating, and interment was in the Snyder Cemetery at Creston.
