Mrs. Stella Campbell Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Stella Campbell, 85, City, died Sunday, Nov. 16, enroute to St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg after an apparent heart attack.
Born in Calhoun County Feb. 18, 1884, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Hall Woodring, and spent the greater part of her life in Creston before moving here two years ago.
She attended the Little Creek Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Campbell of Mt. Zion, and Ernest Campbell, Akron O.; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Campbell, Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Edna Amos, Parkersburg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Thomas Campbell.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McCray Funeral Home, City, with the Rev. K.D. Finch officiating. Burial was in the McCray Cemetery at Creston.
