Mrs. U. L. Boice

Mrs. Sarrah Cathrine Boice, 87, widow of U. L. Boice died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday Oct. l8, at her home at Windy.

A lifelong resident of Wirt County, she was born Sept. 7, 1868. She was a member of Prosperity Bethren Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, who died March 25, 1932 and two children.

Surviving are three sons, Roy, Howard and Elmer Boice, all of Windy; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Moore, of Slate, Mrs. Ada Ayers, of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Iva Bridges, of Windy; one brother, Obe Full, of Belpre, 0.; 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Prosperity Brethren Church with the Rev. K. T. Board of Palestine officiating. Interment was in the Prosperity Brethren Church Cemetery. The McCray Funeral Home, City, was in charge of arrangements.
