Mrs. Mary E. Vandale

Mrs. Mary Ellen Vandale, aged 91, of Ravenna, Ohio, died Friday, Feb. 14, at the home of her son, Hollie L. Vandale, Rt. 2, Ravenna.

Born in Jackson County May 15, 1866, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Moncrief, she was a member of the Center Valley Methodist Church in Wirt County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Vandale, one sister and two brothers.

In addition to the son with whom she made her home, she is survived by three grandchildren; four brothers, Fred J. Moncrief of Cleveland, O., Chester G. Moncrief of Parkersburg, Neal H. Moncrief of Sandyville, and Ethel F. Moncrief of Leroy.

Funeral services were held at the Center Valley Church in Wirt County at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and burial followed in the church cemetery.

The body was removed from the Woods Funeral Home, Ravenna, to the local Pomroy Funeral Home, who conducted the local arrangements.
