Services Yesterday for Willie C. Lucky

Willie C. Lucky, aged 93, of Rt. 1, Leroy, died at his home early Sunday morning, February 10, after a short illness.

Born in Wood County February 2, 1881, he was the son of the late Joseph and Tabitha Boso Lucky.

Mr. Lucky was a member of the Center Valley United Methodist Church at Leroy.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Watkins Lucky; one son Raleigh Lucky, of Leroy; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and one grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) at the Center Valley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Pomroy Funeral Home of Elizabeth was in charge of the arrangements.
