Mrs. Nora Hardbarger

Mrs. Nora Hardbarger, 73, of Rt. 2, City, died at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born March 12, 1891, in Wirt County, daughter of the late Greenberry and Addie Stull Smith. Her husband, Hallie Hardbarger, died Sunday, March 22, and was interred the day before his wife's death.

Mrs. Hardbarger was a member of the Big Island Run Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Brooks, Walker; three sons, Lawrence Hardbarger, Rt. 2, City; Orville Hardbarger and Lester Hardbarger, both of Baltimore, Md.; four brothers, Thomas Smith, of Wilsonburg, Clifford Smith, of Weirton, James Smith, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Bearl Smith, of Cisco; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the Pine Twist Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pomroy Funeral Home, City, was in charge of arrangements.
