T.L. Hickman

Tillman Luther (Tim) Hickman, 75, of Rt. 1, Leroy, in the Peewee Community, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday evening, March 10.

He was born in Taylor County, W.Va., on July 22, 1889, a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Williams Hickman.

He was a retired oil field worker.

Mr. Hickman is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Ann Hickman; one son, Thomas Walter Hickman, at home; one brother, Willis Hickman, of Clarksburg.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Center Valley Methodist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the McCray Funeral Home, City, until noon Saturday, when the body will be removed to the church to lie in state for one hour before the services.
