Mrs. Mary Ann Hickman

Mrs. Mary Ann Hickman, 83, of Rt. 1, Leroy, in Peewee Community, widow of the late T.L. (Tim) Hickman, died last Thursday night, Sept. 9, in a Ripley nursing home following a lengthy illness. Her death followed that of her husband just six months.

She was born in Allegheny County, Maryland, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary McKenzie Llewellyn, and she was a member of the E.U.B. Church.

Surviving her are a son, Thomas Walter Hickman, at home; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Grindell, Lonaconing, Md.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Center Valley Methodist Church on Full's Fork, Wirt County, with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. McCray Funeral Home, City, was in charge of arrangements.
