Delbert R. Goff Dies in Toledo, O.

Mr. William Goff, Rt. 4, City, and Mrs. Elouise Calebaugh, Rt. 2, City, received word last week of the death of their only living uncle, Delbert R. Goff, age 64, of 3182 Cherry Street, Toledo, O. He died Monday evening, June 1, in the Vincents Hospital, Toledo.

Mr. Goff was born August 13, 1905, at Leroy, W. Va., a son of the late Monroe Jackson and Susan Cheuvront Goff. In his boyhood days he attended school in Elizabeth and lived with his mother and step-father, the C.B. Lightners, until he went to Akron, O., to work in the Firestone Tire & Rubber Factory. He worked there for 33 years and then went to Toledo Plastics Co., Toledo O., where he worked for 11 years.

Surviving is his son, Ivan Goff, of the U.S. Navy, Ridgecrest, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leona, 13 years ago.

Services were conducted in the Abele Funeral Home there Thursday, June 4, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Orville Maish officiating, and burial was in the Forest Cemetery in Toledo.
