Harley H. Forshey Rites Held Tuesday (1966)
Harley H. Forshey, 73, Rt. 1 Mineral Wells, died Saturday night, March 26, in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born in Wirt County, Dec. 18, 1892, a son of the late James W. and Minnie Cline Forshey, and was a farmer by occupation. For a few years he was a butcher for the former Andrick and Sims general store in Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Copen Forshey, and a brother, Gerald Forshey.
Surviving are a brother, Tom Forshey, Parkersburg; and a sister, Mrs. C. W. (Maggie) Somerville, of Rt. 2, Palestine. There are a number of nieces and nephews surviving.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Chapel of the Pomroy Funeral Home, City, with the Rev. Gail Ruble officiating. Interment was made in the Elizabeth K. of P. Cemetery.
