Mrs. Nora Boice

Mrs. Nora Andrick Boice, 67, of Windy, died Monday morning, Feb. 15, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

Born April 6, 1892, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Charley and Lillie Dowler McPherson.

She was a member of the Sheppard Methodist Church at Wiseburg, Jackson County, and the Goodwill Council of the Daughters of America.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Boice; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Reese, Belleville, Miss Hazel Andrick of Palestine, Mrs. James Harris of Clendenin, Mrs. Dana Compston and Mrs. Nancy Cunningham, Ravenswood; six sons, Ralph Andrick of Palestine, Roy Andrick of Sandyville, William R. Andrick, Parkersburg, Glenn Andrick of Cleveland, Cpl. Fred Andrick of Ft. Meade, Md., and Sgt. Pearl Andrick of Hawaii.

Also surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Grace Thomas of Sandyville, Mrs. Roy Wine of Windy, Mrs. Otho Whited of Mt. Gay, Mrs. Bert Thompson, Sandyville, Mrs. Hugh Corns of Windy, Mrs. John Bevin, Huntington, and Mrs. Carl Corns, Sandyville; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheppard Methodist Church with the Rev. Denzil Proudfoot officiating. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery, Rt. 2, Palestine. Chambers funeral Home, Ravenswood, was in charge of arrangements.
