Paul V. Anderson

Paul V. Anderson, 33, of 320 Woodland Av., Parkersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 13, in Clarksburg Veterans Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born Apr. 19, 1926, in Wood County, the son of Lewis W. and Bessie Schoolcrarft Anderson.

He was employed by the Quick Motor Freight Lines, Parkersburg. He attended the Pine Twist Baptist Church, Rt. 2, City. He was a veteran of World War II.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Fluharty Anderson; one son, Paul Victor, Jr., at home; three daughters, Rebecca Jean, Julie Annette, both at home, and Helen Louise, of Vienna; his father and mother; two brothers, Ralph B. Anderson and Raymond E. Anderson, Parkersburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Blendena Shockey, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Edna M. Davis, Rockland, O.

Funeral services were held at the Pine Twist Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. C.B. Morrison and the Rev. Orval Cunningham officiating. Members of Wirt Post No. 55, The American Legion, assisted by the Rev. Durward Brown, Chaplain of the W.Va. Air National Guard Reserves, conducted military graveside rites for interment in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
