Mrs. Idonie Wix

Funeral services for Mrs. Idonie Wix, aged 92, of Burning Springs, who died Saturday afternoon, April 13, in Roane General Hospital at Spencer after a long illness, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pomroy Funeral Home Chapel, City.

The Rev. Bud Graham of Creston was the officiating clergyman. Interment followed in the Snyder Cemetery at Creston.

Born in Wirt County March 4, 1882, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Susan Ann Merrill Woodring.

Survivors include two sons Basil and Earl Wix, both at home.

Mrs. Wix was preceded in death by her husband, French Wix, in 1967, and by three sons, one daughter and two brothers.
