Services Tuesday For Basil Wix

Basil Wix, 66, of Burning Springs, died in his sleep at his residence sometime early Sunday morning, April 6.

He was born January 9, 1909, at Creston, Wirt County, a son of the late French and Idonia Woodring Wix. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by one brother, Earl Wix, of Burning Springs; and by two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pomroy Funeral Home Chapel, City, with the Rev. Bud Graham of Creston officiating. Interment was in the Snyder Cemetery at Creston.
