Anna V. Crew

Anna V. Crew, 92, of Leroy, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the home of her son, Golden Crew.

She was born in Wirt County March 31, 1873, the daughter of the late Jasper and Louisa Pickering Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Golden Crew, Leroy, at whose home she died, and Orland Crew, Mogadore, O.; two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Enoch, Alliance, O., and Mrs. Virgie Hunter, Hartville, O,; one sister, Mrs. Bess Ingram, Wheeling; 14 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Crew, in 1927.

Services will be held at the Fairview Methodist Church in Jackson County, where she was a member, at 2 p.m. Friday, October 2, with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call the Pomroy Funeral Home, City, until late Friday morning.
