Services Today For Mrs. Hazel Marie Cain

Mrs. Hazel Marie Cain, 69, of Burning Springs, died suddenly Tuesday, July 23, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Calhoun County, March 18, 1899, a daughter of the late Columbus and Mattie Villers Arthur.

She was a member of the Burning Springs Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Henthorn, who died in 1941, and Joe Conley, who died in 1964.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Cain; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Staats of Mineral Wells, and Miss Edna Henthorn of Akron, O.; three brothers, John Arthur of Creston, Lewis Arthur of Mt. Zion, and Ira Arthur of Annamoriah; five sisters, Mrs. Ollie Wilson and Mrs. Bertha Wells, both of Creston, Mrs. Laura Meadows of Parkersburg, Mrs. Ollie Boice of Belpre, and Mrs. Ella Buck of Stafford, O.; and three grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, and one brother.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 25, at 2 p.m. at the Burning Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Higgins officiating. Burial was at Cooper Cemetery in Creston.

Pomroy Funeral Home, City, was in charge of arrangements.
