Mrs. Rosa L. Snyder

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, at the McCray Funeral Home, City, for Mrs. Rosa L. Snyder, 88, of Creston, who died Tuesday, June 2, at 9 p.m. in the Marshall Convalescent Home, Vienna, following a long illness.

The Rev. Ray E. Shears officiated and burial was in the Snyder Cemetery, Creston.

She was born March 22, 1876, at Creston, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Boston Bennington, and was the widow of Clifford N. Snyder, who preceded her in death in 1962.

Surviving are a son, Orval L. Snyder, Parkersburg; three grandsons, Billy W. Snyder, Loy A. Snyder, and Donald G. Snyder; two great-granddaughters, Judith Ann and Joyce Lynn Snyder; and one great-grandson, Randall Snyder, all of Parkersburg.
