Carrie B. Warren Rites Last Week

Mrs. Carrie Belle Warren, 77, of Rt. 1, Waterford, O., died at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg on Monday, September 29.

She was born in Wirt County, daughter of the late Leander and Fannie Nuzum Vandal. She attended the Mt. Hope U.M. Church and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Churchtown, O.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Warren; four sons, Bruce Alford of Ransomville, N.Y., Leander Dane of Mesa, Ariz., Samuel Blaine of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Donald Lawrence of Reno, Nev.; two daughters, Mrs. Cecile Marie Grott of Oberlin, O., and Mrs. F. (Fae) Means of Lubeck; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Crem of Vienna and Mrs. Cecile Morgan of Mineral Wells.

She was preceded in death by two daughters and a son.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with burial in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
