Mrs. Lucy Roberts Dies in Ohio

Mrs. Lucy Roberts, 79, of Rt. 1, Dellroy, O., died Thursday, January 23, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Syrus Hartong, of Dellroy.

She was a former resident of Parkersburg, and was a member of the Big Tygart Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hartong of Dellroy, Mrs. Goldie Barr, Akron, O., and Mrs. Opal Shively, Cuyahoga Falls, O.; three sons, Merle Roberts, Minerva, O., Lloyd Roberts, Mason, Mich., and Clarence Roberts, Danville, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys West, Elizabeth, Mrs. Estella Osbourne of Chester, and Mrs. Maggie Blair of Vienna; one brother, Roy Full, of East Liverpool, O.; 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wirt Roberts.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with burial in the Reedy Cemetery.
