Burley David Lockhart, 64, of Rt. 2, Belleville, died Thursday, February 7, at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Palestine, a son of the late General and Corda Lockhart. He was a retired railroad car inspector for the B&O Railroad Co.
He is survived by four sons, Gregory and Jeffrey, both of Parkersburg, Burley, Jr., of Hagerstown, Md., and George Lockhart, of Silver Spring, Md.; four daughters, Evelyn Geemer and Karen Bragg, both of Rt. 1, Walker, Rise Kiser, Parkersburg, and Kathryn Conner, of Edgewater, Md.; two step-daughters, Joyce Tennant of Washington, and Linda Coen, Parkersburg; a brother, Theodore Lockhart, of Mineral Wells; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Lockhart is preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ogdin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating, and burial was in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
