Homer B. Brown Rites Tomorrow
Services for Homer B. Brown, 65, of Fort Pierce, Fla., who died at Fort Pierce Hospital Sunday, February 5, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. The Rev. Amos (June) McVey of Belmont will officiate, and burial will be in the Center Valley Cemetery in Wirt County.
He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Peter and Alice Moncrief Brown. He and his wife had resided in Fort Pierce during the winter seasons for the past ten years.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Ice Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Finley, of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Donna Rae Petty, Deer Park, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Estella Davis, Mrs. Florence Fleak, Mrs. Lucy Lowdy and Miss Ada Brown, of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Ruth Palmer, East Liverpool, O.; two brothers, E.W. and Beech Brown, of Parkersburg; and three grandchildren.
