Rites in Calhoun For Reece Bailey (1973)

Funeral services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at 2:30 p.m. at the Minnora United Methodist Church, Calhoun County, for Reece Bailey, 76, Akron, O., who died Sunday, June 17, in Barberton Citizens Hospital following an extended illness. Interment was in the Siers Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey was born at Minnora April 4, 1897, son of the late John and Mary Ross Bailey. He was a member of the Minnora U.M. Church.

For the past nine years he had made his home with a daughter, Iris, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis H. Roberts, 344 Donna Ave., Akron. In addition to Mrs. Roberts, he is survived by five other daughters, two sons, one brother and one sister, 25 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville was in charge of arrangements.
