Orace L. Bailey Dies in Parkersburg (1971)

Orace L. Bailey, 67, of 1300 Mathoit St., Parkersburg, died at his home Tuesday, March 16.

He was born in Davisville, a son of the late Lee W. Bailey and Lurah Childers Bailey. He was a lifelong resident of that area and had retired from the Parkersburg Steel Company in 1969.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Merle Hupp Bailey, a former Wirt Countian; two sons, Orace L. Jr., at home, and Kenneth H. Bailey, Parkersburg; one brother, three sisters, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with the Rev. Norman Butler officiating. Interment will be in the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
