Kermit Amos Services Today

Funeral services for Kermit C. Amos, 68, of 5020 4th Ave., Parkersburg, who was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital Monday, August 5, were held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment was in Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Born at Rockport, Wirt County, he was well known through this section during his early life. He had resided in Akron, O., for a number of years, and for the past 27 years had resided in Parkersburg.

He was a member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church and the Parkersburg United Methodist Church, and was active in the Parkersburg Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Willis Amos; one daughter, Suzanne Amos Minner of Parkersburg; two sons, John, of Taylor, Mich., and Frederick, of Parkersburg; five brothers, Clayton, Edwin, Homer and Warren, all of Parkersburg and Frank Amos of Arlington, Va.; two sisters, Eva Wright and Betty Patton, both of Parkersburg; and eight grandchildren.
